Gold Rush is described as a 'rich golden-nectar', scented with sandalwood and vanilla. The packaging has a western theme, and the blusher itself resembles a golden nugget. Like Galifornia, it has a gold overspray, and although this disappears after a couple of uses, it still has a certain luminosity about it, which I love.
Of course Gold Rush comes armed with it's own curved brush, and while I know a lot of people enjoy using Benefit's blusher brushes, I tend to toss them as I prefer a much fluffier version. I really like this new launch, and I think those of you who aren't big blusher wearers, for fear of looking like you've overdone it, may find this brightens up your face without looking too flushed.
Gold Rush officially launches on Benefit counters on the 31st of March and will retail for £25.50.
